Ladies Poker Only Jan 12, 2009

There are many exciting events in the poker pipeline that are meant just for women. So if you’re a poker fan, and happen to be of the female persuasion, there's a great time ahead for you.

To start with, the ladies can enjoy a good game of competitive poker at the Aviation Club de France which is hosting a ‘ladies only’ No Limit Hold ‘Em tournament. This event is part of the Euro Finals of Poker and will be conducted on Friday, January 9, 2009 at 9 am. Entrants will have to come in on a $200 buy in. The famous Aviation Club de France is located at 104 Champs Élysées in Paris. Anyone can enter this private club, but formal clothes are essential.

Another exciting competition will be a No Limit Hold ‘Em competition just for women at 11 am on Saturday, January 10, 2009. Participants will be entering the tournament on a $300 + 40 buy in. This event will be held as part of the Gulf Coast Poker Championship and the LIPS Tour at the Beau Rivage Hotel and Casino, 875 Beach Boulevard in Biloxi, Mississippi.

Only women will be allowed to enter the Borgata Winter Open No Limit Hold ‘Em event, on a $260 + 40 buy in. This competition will be played at the Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa at 1, Borgata Way in Atlantic City, New Jersey. 11 am on Sunday, January 18, 2009 will see the start of this competition.

On Sunday, January 18, 2009 is the Ladies Only tournament from Caesars Windsor at 377, Riverside Drive East in Windsor in Ontario. This will be a CAD $115 buy-in for women only.

Harrah's Tunica Poker Tournament plays host to the World Series of Poker Circuit No Limit Hold 'Em Ladies Only Event. This poker contest, to start at 4 pm on Sunday, January 25, 2009 at Harrah's Tunica, 1100, Casino Strip Resort in Robinsonville, MS, will have a $200 + 30 buy in. At this event, 3% of the money collected will be distributed among the tournament staff.

At OLG Casino Point Edward, Wednesday is Ladies' Night. There will be No Limit Hold 'Em competitions on February 4, 11 and 18, 2009 at this casino on 2000, Venetian Boulevard, in Point Edward, Ontario. The High Heels Poker Tour Academy will be held on March 6th and 7th, 2009 at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
