IamBetterthanU wins ECOOP December 02, 2008

Titan Poker announced its third installment of ECOOP - the online poker European championship. The 14 days of great online competition would give the poker champions a share of $4.15 million in guaranteed prizes.

The original ECOOP which was held in 2007 December was extended for another 10 days with a 2.5 million guaranteed prize. This championship was won by wkllkllu whose prize money amounted to $220,000. Jeanss89 took home a bounty of $315,000 as well as a bracelet. The third tournament with a $4.15 million bounty extended over 14 days and IamBetterthanyou proved that that his was not an idle boast by taking home the cup and a prize of $59,640. The tourney started on November 24th and the player plans on competing at the final on Dec 7th.

This tournament started Monday night with about 1,420 players participating. Any player who managed to earn 100 points in a poker game are eligible to enter a free roll for $5,000. Winners get cash as well as entrance tickets into a $15,000 quarterly free roll game. Players can get into this game by winning 1,500 points in the allocated time period.

ECOOP III's first no limit hold 'Em event had a $200 + $15 buy in with a $250,000 prize. There will be 14 games up to December 7th when the final tournament main event will be held. All these events have a $100,000 pool and are open to players on CD poker and Titan Poker sites which belong to the iPoker Network

Thanks to a crowd of players who turned up for the no limit event, the players found themselves playing for a prize of $284,000. Iambetterthanyou bested 150 players to top this list and picked up a prize of $59,640.
