Asian Pacific Poker Tour sets the islands on fire August 22, 2008

The Asian Pacific Poker Tour is heating up for another season this year. Last year the tour was brought to fans from Manila in the Philippine Islands. The tour was a major success reaching new Poker enthusiasts in the tiny island, and spreading the Poker message to much more of the world.

The winner last year, Brett Parise, won nearly $180,000 making the tour an outrageous success. Hopes for this season are even higher.

This year the Asian Pacific Poker Tour kicks off their action on September 1st. There are over twenty big names scheduled to attend the event and promoters are expecting a huge turn out in both audience, as well as the Poker participants themselves.

Participants wanting to qualify can still get in on the action at Pokerstars and win a seat. Seats are becoming much more difficult to come by, but the motivation is great to do so. There is no time like the present to find a chair to be a winner on September 6th when the tournament ends.

Some people might get the misconception that this tournament is solely for Asian players, that simply isn't true. Players from all over Europe, North America, South America, and the rest of the world have been invited to try their luck.
